We’re an independent, family-owned restaurant & bar with rooms perched among the craggy rocks of Pentire Headland, Cornwall.  Our aspiration to provide our guests and team with a wholesome hospitality experience that exceeds expectations has been guiding us for over 20 years.

We’re passionate about food and drink use the best locally sourced ingredients to create menus that are inspired by the land and sea around us.

Jobs available

Senior Sous Chef

  • Someone with substantial Senior Sous Chef experience.
  • Someone with experience in sourcing locally sourced, great quality food and providing exceptional service standards.
  • To have the ability to remain calm under pressure and within a fast-paced working environment
  • Great time management skills
  • The ability to be attentive and adhere to management instructions professionally
  • Ability to work/lead all sections.

Hours: 50 per week (contracted)

Salary: Up to £37,500 per annum

 

Chef de Partie

  • Experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
  • Strong culinary skills with a focus on meal preparation and presentation
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen team

Hours: Up to 50 a week

Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum

 

Breakfast Chef

  • To be primarily responsible for preparation and service of breakfast food, brunches and staff feeding. 
  • To help with other shifts and meal services when required to do so by the Head Chef. 

Hours: Days only – up to 45 hours a week

Salary: £13.50 an hour

 

Kitchen Porter

  • To have the ability to remain calm under pressure and within a fast-paced working environment
  • Great time management skills
  • The ability to be attentive and adhere to instructions professionally.

Hours: Full time

Salary: Up to £12.21 per hour
