If you’re a couple who love myth and folklore, Tintagel Castle could be the perfect date day out for you. The historic site is set into the clifftops of North Cornwall, a medieval fortification located on the peninsula of Tintagel Island.

Today, the site has many links to the tales of King Arthur, and, for centuries, this dramatic castle and coastline has fired the imaginations of writers, artists… and even the brother of a king.

While it now lays in ruins, be swept away in the ancient energy of this place – or simply enjoy the incredible views over the Atlantic as you stand on the edge.
